Verana, the Handmade Boutique Hotel

In Architecture & Design by Isabella Moreno

It all began from earth. A privileged space submerged in the jungle with sea views all around, overflowing vegetation and tropical aromas combined with the heat of the sun. The construction of hotel Verana was made in the traditional way, with hands and old tools preserving the space in an original way. It is an architectural project that was integrated into the environment and area where it dwells and coexists everyday. It is a luxury space that undoubtedly will remain forever enshrined in your memory and a wonderful place to go and reactivate life. Enjoy a wonderful vacation here with your partner or with the people who you love the most. Reservations are accepted for a minimum of five nights (seven night minimum stay through January 6, 2017). Reaching Verana is an adventure in itself. Guests fly into Puerto Vallarta and then travel by car until arriving at Boca of Tomatlan where guests then board a water taxi that whisks you off to the hotel.

Some of the activities that you can enjoy here are whale tours, snorkeling, fishing and exploring the nearby islands. The hotel features a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, a small library, a jungle spa and a gift shop. Each bungalow is different but all them feature a beautiful view complete with a terrace. The beds are decorated with hanging cloths and the interiors are spectacularly decorated with the feel of a magical jungle. Don’t miss Hotel Verana, one of the best options in the country to enjoy at any time of the year!
