For those looking to make Cabo San Lucas home, another batch of luxury real estate offerings has recently been announced—and is quickly selling out. A limited offering of 55 for-sale branded luxury residences as part of 1 Hotel & Homes Cabo has just launched public sales with close to a third already sold in a founder’s pre-sale. The residences are the first international residences from 1 Hotel, a luxury lifestyle brand that launched in 2015 with exclusive properties opening in Miami’s South Beach and Manhattan’s Central Park. 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge recently opened in Brooklyn Bridge Park and now, Cabo will also be home to the eco-conscious, luxury brand.
While the hotel is set to debut in 2019, the residences, or “1 Homes,” are slated for a mid-2018 completion and range in size from one- to seven-bedroom floor plans, including a collection of beach-front villas, only two of which still remain. The homes will feature a classic Mexican-hacienda-style with modern touches and natural materials like local rammed earth, granite, marble, reclaimed wood, repurposed materials, living plants and raw textures. Seamless indoor-outdoor living will harness the natural Baja light and celebrate the Cabo way of life.
The hotel and homes will be located inside the 22-acre, $230 million master plan private residential community, Hacienda, which already includes Hacienda Beach Club and Residences, a 109 unit private residential community that completely sold out in 2015. Located directly on the Sea of Cortez at the site of the former Hacienda Hotel—host to Hollywood legends like Bing Crosby, John Wayne and Desi Arnaz—the new hotel and residences will offer priceless views of iconic Land’s End and will be conveniently located steps away from bustling downtown Cabo San Lucas.

Another highlight of the property will be El Mercado, an open-air collection of live action stations reminiscent of a Mexican street food market that will showcase regional flavors using organic ingredients.
Prices for 1 Homes range from the low $600,000’s to $7,000,000, with a select few available for pre-sales at founders prices. Those interested can experience the property’s Discovery Weekend that includes a cooking class, a visit to the organic marketplace, a sunset cruise and a private Mescal tasting.
