Cueva Siete—named for the seven origin caves of Mayan mythos—serves up Yucatecan dishes deeply rooted in Mexican flavor. First to head up the restaurant is Chef Christan Bravo who’s competed on Top Chef Mexico and whipped up dishes all through Mexico and Spain.

To amp up the elegance and romance, guests can enjoy Mi Carisa, a sultry dining outlet featuring the flavors of the Mediterranean. Coastal Italian cuisine highlight this outlet where a smoky flavor from its wood-burning oven adds to its seafood-centered menu. For those craving the flavors of Asia, Mura House is a Japanese-inspired restaurant featuring three different styles of Japanese cuisine—teppanyaki, yakitori and sushi, and for all day eats in a beachside setting, Restaurant 20.87 offers a relaxed atmosphere with everything from a morning buffet to a classic grill when the sun goes down. Café Inez provides quick and easy eats while two bars, Palmera Lounge and Bar Balam, offer two distinctive takes on nightlife.

The hotel also features Esencia Day Spa, a 17,700-sq.-ft. spa with 10 single cabins, six couples cabins and two couples suites plus hydrotherapy facilities with a plunge pool, hammam and steam and sauna room.
