In Los Cabos, Play by Suzanne Koch

Get ready to tee up to smooth tunes in paradise during the Life Luxe Jazz Golf Tournament, taking place November 3 at Quivira Golf Club. The tournament is in accompaniment to the Life Luxe Jazz concert series which will be held November 1-4.

Patrons can register to participate in the tournament which kicks off Saturday, November 3 at 7:30 a.m. The $295 per player fee includes green fees, golf cart, unlimited food and drinks at the club’s four comfort stations, swag bags and tournament awards. Winners will receive their awards and be recognized on stage at the concert event that same night.

Tournament participants will be able to compete at Quivira Golf Club, named one of the ”World’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses” by Golf Digest. The stunning 7,085-yard, par-72 layout is marked by sheer cliffs, massive dunes and desert foothills and is one of the most exciting courses Jack Nicklaus has built. It also has more oceanfront exposure than any other course in Los Cabos.

The Life Luxe Jazz concert series will be hosted at adults-only Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort and will be a weekend full of music. Guests can look forward to all-day concerts from a star-studded lineup of performers like Grammy-winning contemporary jazz and R&B singer Norman Brown, Mindi Abair, Bobby Caldwell, Boney James, Michael Manson, Keiko Matsui, Maysa, Meli’sa Morgan, Najee, Gregory Porter, Lin Rountree, Kirk Whalum and Zoe Wood.

Concerts will be held on an expansive stretch of pristine beach in front of Pueblo Bonito Pacifica with plenty of food and drink stations and large circular fire pits carved into the sand and lit during the evening. In addition, several free concerts will be scheduled for the residents of Los Cabos, while jazz workshops will be hosted to introduce the city’s youth to the culture of jazz.

Festival attendees will also have the chance to enjoy other fun events like a jazz sunset cruise, spotlighting the music of Ernest Quarles and Lindsey Webster. Guests can enjoy a specially prepared menu, multiple bars, and close-up views of El Arco, Cabo’s iconic rock formation at Land’s End.

A variety of ticket packages are currently on sale with a portion benefiting the Letty Coppel Foundation, which gives back to the Los Cabos community.
