Don’t miss the many events happening this month at Flora Farms!

Farm Breakfast Table: For a real farm breakfast, join Flora Farms from 9-11 a.m. where an assortment of food is served, including: fresh fruit, seasonal salad, yogurt, homemade granola, herbed scrambled eggs, roasted sausages, vegetable hash, sliced ham, quiche of the day, house-made bagels, cinnamon rolls and pastries. The breakfast costs $15 per person and includes orange juice, water, coffee and tea!

Summer Cooking Class: Learn about wild edibles, their health benefits and their amazing taste. The class also includes a lesson on how to make tortillas the old-fashioned way (nixtamal), along with a delicious lunch and cocktail. Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. $65 per person. Plein Air Painting Lessons: Join artist Francois Paris, owner of O Gallery to create your own masterpiece. The class includes all materials needed, plus lunch and wine. Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. $100 per person. Reservations: sonja@flora-farms.com

Fresh Fruit & Vegetables: With lots of recent rain, the farm is burgeoning with fresh food. Stop by the grocery or market to grab a bag of fruits or vegetables including mangoes, papayas, chiles, eggplants, lemons, zucchini, lettuce, swiss chars, garlic, sweet potato, herbs and more.

Movie Nights: Grab a blanket and enjoy Flora Farm’s own kettle popcorn or pizza with wine or grilled sangria and enjoy a movie. Wednesdays, 8:15 p.m. Reservations: dulce@flora-farms.com
