Cuisine of the Sun Returns to Villa La Estancia Riviera Nayarit

Forks up because April 26-29, the second annual international food and wine festival, Cuisine of the Sun, is taking over Villa La Estancia Beach Resort & Spa in Riviera Nayarit. The four-day festival will be a mecca for foodies alike as celebrity chefs, expert sommeliers and creative mixologists will take over for a weekend full of delicious entertainment.

The star-studded event is being curated by Food Network Celebrity Chef and USFOODS Culinary Specialist Penny Davidi and will play host to some of the industry’s best. The event will showcase the talents and tastes of internationally-acclaimed chefs from the U.S. and Latin America. Guests can look forward to a variety of palate-pleasing activities like elegant dinners, beachside BBQ’s, poolside mixology, cooking demonstrations, workshops, a Chopped Challenge and more. An opening ceremony will kick off the multi-day event that will feature tastings, live demos, fireworks, live music and a dessert and chocolate display.

Another highlight of the event will be the Chopped Challenge, a cooking competition that pairs up participants with celebrity chefs to whip up unique dishes with limited ingredients. Guests will compete for a spot in the grand finale where the winner will receive a three-night all-inclusive stay at Villa La Estancia.

The event will commence with a beach party dinner where all chefs will prepare their signature dishes along with a fashion show featuring models draped in diamonds.
