For this reason, the Mexican Tourism Board created the Magical Towns Program, an initiative that seeks to promote a series of towns across the country that are significant due to their history, rich culture, unique traditions, and natural beauty. These towns welcome visitors from all around the world, offering them a truly magical experience. Below is a list of our five favorite magical towns to say ‘I Do’ in Mexico… in no particular order.

1. Sayulita

Sayulita is a small town with a legendary surfing scene that encompasses all the charm and colorful culture of Mexico in its cobblestone streets, small restaurants and shops. Located in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas, San Cristobal sits 7,200 feet above sea level and is one of Mexico’s best preserved Spanish colonial towns. A massive wealth of flora, fauna and wildlife contribute to the natural beauty of this region.
