We were invited by one of Mexico City’s top creators, Vivian, to experience a hidden speakeasy in Mexico City: Hanky Panky. At first, I had no clue—half thinking we were off for an oil change or a pawn shop run! But as we wove through Mexico City’s colorful neighborhoods, we arrived at an unassuming location. A password was given, and we entered the hidden Hanky Panky bar.
Hanky Panky’s cocktail menu is one of Mexico City’s best. I savored their “Duke of Earl,” a smoky delight, and their “Hanky Panky” classic, perfect with gin and vermouth.
