Several years ago Sofia began her professional career in fashion, but time led her to focus her abilities in furniture, creating Atelier Central, a brand that has positioned itself in Mexico as one of the favorites of those looking to take home quality pieces. The project started with products made by the Mazahua community, and throughout the years Atelier Central evolved and it became not only a furniture and accessories store, but also an interior design firm which offers a complete service to its customers. The main idea has always been to reuse elements and work with the incomparable talent of Mexican artisans to present a proposal of contemporary products made with organic materials. The style of Atelier Central is clearly modern and fresh. Its color palette is very neutral and relaxing, using materials such as wood, marble, leather, various textiles and even glass, but it is the details such as plants, pictures, books, cushions and accessories that give each space a unique personality. Every season Atelier Central surprises us with new collections that were carefully designed by Sofia and her team; then they come to life by Mexican hands and are ready to occupy a place at home of those who know how to appreciate this kind of work. Today the brand has 4 stores in Mexico City: Pedregal, Polanco, Roma and Bosques de las Lomas, but they also ship throughout Mexico via its website.
