Cupallo Vase: David Pompa´s New Creation

In Architecture & Design by Ali Madrazo

We are all in love with the fascinating lamps created by the designer David Pompa, but this time his creativity took a turn by surprising us with a reinvention of the now traditional Cupallo model, becoming a beautiful vase with subtle lines that form a perfect harmony. The piece is made of solid brass and recycled handblown glass; it is presented in new proportions to give life to an element that together with your favorite flower or plant will give life to the space you select to place it. One of the most interesting aspects in the design is achieved by reflecting the light in the water due to the transparency of the material and playing with the movement of these two elements. The balance achieved between object and nature, between functionality and aesthetics, is worthy of one of the best product designers that currently exist. Whether you are going to integrate it into a modern, classic or even minimalist space, the Cupallo Vase is a piece that will shine on its own while being able to adapt to any of the before mentioned styles for being a timeless accessory. Once again David Pompa surprises us with his innovation and makes us place his products on our wish list for home.
