Mexico is  proudly positioned as a protagonist in the world for investors, tourist destinations, strategic and important space in contemporary art, fashion and jewelry scene, gastronomic talent and mystical space. Mexico is one of the most diverse and beautiful countries on the planet. The talent of the population is inexhaustible and the variety of natural resources to use as inspiration vary depending on the state where you are, from the southern jungle until the polar climate up north; Mexico has enough to inspire all tastes. Equally, the raw materials are the most diverse. With this in mind, the continuous creation becomes natural.

Speaking of jewelry, Mexico has several independent brands of designers who have surprised the world on the runways and most importantly in world-wide fashion journals, something difficult to do at the national level. Sangre de mi Sangre is one of our all time favorites. The project was born in Monterrey where Mariana Villareal‘s love for jewelry design prompted her to begin this project that has given us a fresh air to all art and jewelry lovers. Each piece becomes an object that is part of her imagination, giving a piece of conscience to the public and creating more than an accessory, but an amulet to customers.

Mariana was attracted to literature and philosophy but her destiny was all along in jewelry design. She began to design for personal use, and  little by little she started expanding in Monterrey until it finally became her daily work and she decided to study in New York in Metalsmith School. So, it was ten years ago when Mariana created her first ring.

Medullar part in the production of her collections come from the different places that the designer has visited: Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Colombia, Vietnam, India, Mexico and USA. All of these destinations are full of inspiration, magic, mystery and splendor.

The official shop of this brand is located in Mexico City in the Colonia Roma, the space devoted to art and beauty. Mariana Villareal lives, works and promotes this area of Mexico City and was the reason for leaving the city where she was born. Be sure to visit her online site and the store in Mexico City if you have the opportunity in addition to know the possibility to create something to your own taste and measure.
