3 Champagne Cocktails From Casamigos Tequila

In Cancún, Dine, Dine, Dine, Dine, Los Cabos, Playa del Carmen & Tulum, Puerto Vallarta by Suzanne Koch

We didn’t think tequila could get any better, but these three champagne cocktails prove otherwise. Add a little sparkle to the holidays with these recipes, compliments of Casamigos Tequila.

Blondie

  • 1 oz. Casamigos Blanco
  • 4 oz. Brut Champagne
  • .25 oz. Vanilla bean simple syrup (recipe below)
  • 2 Dashes lavender bitters

Vanilla bean simple syrup: Start with 1:1 simple syrup. Break open and stir in whole vanilla beans. Let simmer over very low heat for one hour. Strain.

Directions: In a champagne flute, combine all ingredients except champagne. Stir until the syrup is mixed into tequila. Add champagne.

The Handsome Tiger

  • 2 oz. Casamigos Reposado
  • .5 oz. Fresh lemon juice
  • .25 oz. Agave nectar
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Champagne
  • Cinnamon sugar

Directions: Combine equal parts cinnamon and sugar on a plate and lightly wet the outside of the rim of the flute with an orange wedge. Lightly press outside of flute’s rim into mixture. Tap glass to remove loose fragments of mixture. Shake and strain all ingredients with ice except for champagne. Strain into a chilled flute and top with champagne foam and serve.

Casa Royale

  • 1 oz. Casamigos Blanco
  • .5 oz. Crème de Cassis
  • Edible gold glitter
  • Chilled Champagne or prosecco
  • Concord grape on skewer

Directions: Combine all ingredients into tin shaker, except for champagne. Add ice. Shake vigorously for 4 to 6 seconds. Strain into champagne flute. Top off with champagne. Garnish with grape skewer.
