A New Season: Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos Debuts

In Los Cabos, Stay by Suzanne Koch

The debut of Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos on the undiscovered East Cape is paving the way for a new era.

The brand-spankin’ new property opened its doors in October and it’s more than just another Cabo resort. For starters, it’s home to the first Four Seasons marina, a launching pad for guests to take on the Baja waters through activities like sunset sails, sportfishing and more. A 45-minute drive from the airport, its East Cape location takes guests quite literally to the other side of Cabo. In an untouched area of the Baja, this new destination invites travelers to truly escape.

The resort’s design embraces a contemporary feel through its sophisticated beachy vibe. Indoor-outdoor living spaces are emphasized through the sleek designs and sun-drenched, airy interiors from Guerin Glass Architects. In rooms, guests can enjoy things like free-standing oversized bathtubs, ocean views and private terraces, with first floor rooms and suites featuring outdoor showers and private plunge pools. Along with Four Seasons’ expected level of luxury, native landscaping and a unique, laid back atmosphere plays a large role in setting the sophisticated ambiance.

World-famous estiatorio Milos has landed at the resort, making its Latin America debut. The Mediterranean concept from Chef Costas Spiliadis — with locations in foodie cities like New York City, London and Las Vegas — is known for its market-style seafood. Diners at the Cabo outpost will be able to enjoy things like an oceanfront location and a raw bar serving fresh sashimis and tartares. A 230-sq.-ft. display of crushed ice will hold an impressive array of fresh fish for guests to hand-select while chandeliers and marble tables up the luxury level. Additional dining choices includes a Baja-inspired brasserie, an al fresco bar and grill, a café, and a casual outlet serving sea-to-table ceviches, tiraditos, crudo and more.

Enjoy indigenous-inspired treatments and wellness programs at Oasis Spa, dive into one of four resort pools, or explore the nearby area through hiking, mountain biking, zip lining and other outdoor adventures. Since the resort is located within the exclusive community of Costa Palmas, guests have even more amenities at their disposal, including a Robert Trent Jones II-designed 18-hole golf course, 18 acres of organic farms and orchards, two miles of swimmable beach and a sports complex and fitness facilities. An assortment of meeting spaces are available for a variety of events and those with youngsters can take advantage of the brand’s year-round Kids for All Seasons program.
