As the current quarantine in Mexico is scheduled lift on May 31, per the Mexican Federal Government, many world-class resorts are planning to reopen their doors soon after.

In preparation for their June 1 reopening, Pueblo Bonito is sharing all the ways they plan to care for and welcome back guests in the safest way possible. The team has partnered up with various medical specialists and PREVERISK, a global leader in hotel consulting who’s certified in preventive protocols for COVID-19 (COVID-19 Hygiene Response Certificate), disinfection, hygiene, general sanitation and food safety.

“In addition to tapping the expertise of our consultants, the hygiene practices at the resorts will meet or exceed the recommendations of local and international health authorities. At all times, our priority is the health and safety of our owners, guests and coworkers.”

Alberto Coppel, CEO of Pueblo Bonito Resorts

The team has also introduced their own CARE Pledge, which translates to Conscientious service, Advanced standards, Rigorous sanitation and Elevated hygiene.

From guests’ airport arrival to the resort entrance and throughout the many amenities at the property (rooms, pools, spa, fitness area, restaurants, Quivira Golf Club), Pueblo Bonito has established safety and sanitary protocols, including:

  • All guest luggage will be sanitized upon arrival
  • Guests will enter a sanitation cabin and receive temperature checks with an infrared digital thermometer
  • Mobile pre-check-in will be available
  • Social distancing protocols of six feet will be established in all public areas
