Meliá Hotels International, one of the largest hotel companies worldwide, with more than 370 hotels in more than 40 countries and four continents, has transformed Meliá Cabo Real into Paradisus Los Cabos, which is part of a $35 million renovation to convert and upgrade the existing property. Debuting last December, this property is the ninth Paradisus resort in its portfolio and the fourth in Mexico. The resort also features a fine dining restaurant, Passion by Martin Berasategui, a brand standard, where guests will get to experience world-class cuisine by seven Michelin star-rated chef Martin Berasategui.

Located only 25 minutes from San Jose del Cabo International Airport, on the largest swimmable beach in the Cabo Corridor, Paradisus Los Cabos is set on 14.5 acres surrounded by a private golf course (Cabo Real Golf Course) and picturesque mountains. The resort features 350 guest rooms including 98 Royal Service Suites with butler service, 30 Family Concierge Suites, and 28 Ocean View Swim-up Suites. Paradisus Los Cabos’ amenities include signature adult-only Royal Service, family concierge, four swimming pools, three bars and six restaurants featuring a variety of international cuisines, a large variety of event space (including one of the largest convention centers in Cabo), a signature wine cellar, Paradisus Resort’s signature YHI spa, a fitness center and more.

“We are thrilled to bring the Paradisus Resorts brand to such a thriving travel destination in Mexico,” said Alvaro Tejeda, Regional VP The Americas, Meliá Hotels International. “The brand has enjoyed significant success in the Dominican Republic and Mexico, and we are confident that our new Cabo property will be well-received, particularly with groups as the hotel features the largest convention space in the destination.”

“We are delighted to add Cabo to our roster of Paradisus Resorts,” said Tony, Cortizas, VP of Global Brand Strategy at Meliá Hotels International. “We are growing in Mexico and around the world and this is an exciting moment for the Paradisus Resorts brand and Meliá Hotels International overall.”

All-inclusive rates at Paradisus Los Cabos start at $240 per person, per night, based on double occupancy in a Paradisus Junior Suite Garden View.
