As if there’s not enough places to overindulge in Los Cabos, now we can look forward to a gathering of copious amounts of delicious food. The International Food Festival is returning to Los Cabos. This year, Sabor a Cabo is celebrating it’s 10th year serving up a variety of enticing cuisine. The event will also be filled with lots of beer and wine, live music, art walks and craft displays.
The event is sponsored by the Los Cabos Tourism Board and has successfully established itself as a prominent event helping to support and promote the culture of Los Cabos. “With so many great culinary offerings in Los Cabos we are pleased to support the 10th edition of this wonderful event”, says Los Cabos Tourism Board Managing Director Ruben Reachi. “Sabor a Cabo is one of many annual events that tourists and locals alike look forward to year after year.” This year’s theme will be “Simmering…a tribute to Mexican roots,” which will highlight the tastes of Baja California Sur through traditional cuisine and wines.
While many details have yet to be announced, you can expect the following schedule:
- December 2: Sabor a Cabo Beer Fest-A lively array of food vendors, traditional crafts displays, live music, and of course, a selection of the best beer from Mexico (Starts at 5pm at Plaza El Pescador, San Jose del Cabo)
- December 3: Sabor a Cabo Art Walk & Wine-The gallery district of San Jose del Cabo welcomes guests to enjoy a lovely evening of fine art and culinary offerings accompanied by a selection of great wines. (Starts at 5pm downtown San Jose del Cabo)
- December 5: Evening Under the Stars -The main event of Sabor a Cabo takes place in Chileno Bay, and will feature the gastronomy of nearly 40 restaurants, highlighted by a live concert by singer-songwriter, Lila Downs. The cost of presale tickets will begin at $120 per person. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Los Cabos Fire Department and Children’s Foundation.
