AccorHotels has announced plans to open a luxury beachfront hotel under its SO/ brand. SO/ Los Cabos Hotel & Residences will be Accor’s first SO/ property in Mexico and the second in the region.
Located “on the outskirts of San Jose del Cabo,” the new property will exude a stylish interior and offer its signature services, lively social events, unique experiences and more. Keeping in line with all SO/ properties around the world, the new Cabo hotel will call on a celebrated fashion designer to add their artistic touch to the property, which will feature 200 chic guest rooms and 36 luxury residences with beach and ocean vistas.
Amenities will include an “impressive rooftop experience;” two modern restaurants serving Mexican gastronomy; a trendy lounge with ocean views, surrounded by five swimming pools; and outdoor event spaces. There will also be indoor and outdoor function space, a SO/ SPA with treatments inspired by Mexican beauty rituals, a SO/ FIT fitness center with a glass-bottom pool and access to an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Design golf course.
SO/ Los Cabos Hotel & Residences is slated to open at the end of 2021.
