My city: Mexico City

My favorite part about my city is… my neighborhood: Polanco.

The best time of year to visit is… all year round is great because the weather is always nice.

My ideal weekend in town: There are great restaurants and neighborhoods in Mexico City. My favorite are La Roma and Polanco. Therefore, my ideal weekend would be to walk around these neighborhoods and have lunch/dinner with friends there. Also there are a few bars and nightclubs worth visiting.

The one attraction you can’t miss: Antropología museum and Castillo de Chapultepec. Walk around el Centro de Coyoacán and visit Casa de Frida. Visit Bellas Artes, El Zocalo, el Templo Mayor and Catedral in Downtown Mexico City.

My top 2 picks for breakfast… Niddo, Four Seasons and Lalo.

My top 2 picks for lunch… San Angelin and Contramar.

My top 2 picks for dinner… Pujol and Quintonil.

The best happy hour is… Not really happy hour, but for drinks, Blanco Colima, Blanco Castelar, Condesa DF.

The best local cup of coffee: Panadería Rosetta, Cafe Toscano, Café Bruna.

My go-to for the best Instagram photo op is… Sanborns de los Azulejos, Bellas Artes and the La Roma neighborhood.

The best place for a great cocktail… Limantour

When I want to shop local, I go to… LAGO and IKAL in Masaryk, Bazar del Sábado in San Ángel and La Lonja market.

My tips for a great night out… Café Paraíso is unique.

I recommend staying… at The St. Regis Mexico City, Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City, Hyatt Regency Mexico City, Sofitel Mexico City Reforma, Condesa DF, Hotel Habita, PugSeal, W Mexico City.

To unwind and relax… My favorite SPA is at The St. Regis Mexico City.

Something people get wrong about my city is… that it’s dangerous.

Something not many people know about my city is… that it’s a cosmopolitan city and that there are a lot of interesting things to do. Tourists and foreign residents are very happy here.

My No. 1 tip for out-of-towners is… have fun!

You’ll love my city if you love… places with a lot of personality and culture.
