Banyan Tree Mayakoba Celebrating Cello With Italian Food Festival

It’s time to party with Banyan Tree Mayakoba as they celebrate the first anniversary of their water-side dining experience Cello. The magical restaurant serves up the original flavors of Italian cuisine paired with wines from Italian grapes that have been grown in Mexico.

To properly celebrate, the restaurant is hosting three different events for guests to enjoy.

Grand Party a la Italiana

  • April 27, 7 to 10 p.m.

  • Banyan Tree Mayakoba resident and guest chefs will features an Italian dinner specially prepared for this event, in a tour of seven live food stations (including pairing).

Italian Cooking Class

  • April 28, 1 p.m.
  • $80
  • Enjoy an authentic Italian cooking class by Guest Chef Marcel Kazda and Cello’s Chef, Sarahi Ponce, at the ‘Cooking School’ in El Pueblito at Mayakoba. Limited seating of 15 people.

Italian Festival

  • April 28-30
  • Four-course tasting menu: $110, five-course tasting menu: $120 (includes pairing)
  • Indulge in this Italian cuisine festival which features a tasting menu with wine pairing by Banfi and Patrón Tequila.
