Banyan Tree Mayakoba Hosts Thai Food Festival

Immerse yourself in the exotic world of Thailand on the lush shores of the Riviera Maya. From August 16-18, Banyan Tree Mayakoba will be infused with the world of Thai cuisine. Guests will be able to enjoy Thai-influenced meals, spa experiences and cooking classes. The package includes accommodations in a private pool villa, Thai amenities upon arrival and at turndown service, daily Thai-themed breakfast at Oriente, one cooking class, three dinner events and one 60-minute spa treatment per person. Tuesday, August 16: The event kicks off with an opening party with a formal dinner at Saffron, the resort’s signature restaurant. Indulge in light and fresh Thai cuisine while the Mexican Thai Ambassador, Chatsinee Wutimananon welcomes everyone.

Wednesday, August 17: Guests will enjoy a Thai cooking class with Chef Renu Homsombat and Chef Wayu “Light” Wattanakamin and in the evening, live dinner stations at the beach will feature Thai BBQ and entertainment including dancing, music and bonfires.

Thursday, August 18: Master showroom with Banyan Tree Mayakoba’s therapists offering participants relaxing massages as well as a coffee break in the Mayapan meeting room. Closing night festivities include Bangkok Street Food at the lobby terrace with Thai entertainment including live music, dancers and a water market with food displays on canoes.
