Jungala, a Luxury Waterpark, to Open This Summer in the Riviera Maya

Grupo Vidanta is expanding its entertainment offerings even further with the opening of its luxury boutique waterpark this summer.

Visitors to Jungala will dive into nature as they explore the park which will feature rock walls, sky-high tree formations, water sprouting from natural pergolas and lost ruins, native animals and birds, caves, waterfalls and bridges.

A deluxe VIP cabana with personalized service will offer guests a place to recharge. Amenities include champagne, fruit platters, light bites, dessert platters, in-cabana spa treatments and multiple floors and rooms with exclusive amenities and more. Cabanas will be available for full-day rentals.

For those looking to get their heart racing, state-of-the-art rides like the Aqua Drop, Aqua Loop, Flatline Loop and Whizzard will do the trick while families can enjoy family slides and kid-approved areas like the Waterslide Complex and Aqua Play Rain Fortress, the largest interactive play structure in the world. Additional fun features include a lazy river, the longest one in Latin America; and the Wave Pool, which will feature a natural beach sand.

On-site bar and dining options will include On the Waves Snack Hall, Mojito Bendito Bar, Sand-gria Bar and the Cocoyol Pool Bar. Jungala will also feature stylish boutiques and stores with a wide range of clothing, crafts, and souvenirs at the Bana Cabana Shop and the Bohanna Market.

Jungala is set to open June 22, 2019 at Vidanta Riviera Maya and will be open to Vidanta resort guests and the public seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
