The 9th annual American Express Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf is returning Nov. 14-17. The culinary and golf event will be hosted by Punta Mita Resort, The Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort and The Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The event will combine the very best in golf with the best in Mexican cuisine, wine, tequila and mezcal. During the day, golfers can tee up for The American Express Golf Tournament at Punta Mita’s two Jack Nicklaus signature golf courses, Pacifico and Bahia, overlooking beautiful Banderas Bay. Kicking off the two-day tournament will be Mexico’s best all-time golfer Lorena Ochoa facing off against Craig “The Walrus” Stadler for the traditional Punta Mita Golf Challenge. The tournament will conclude with a luncheon which will award prizes to winners.
During the weekend at various outlets throughout Punta Mita, guests will be able to enjoy gourmet experiences from some of Mexico’s most talented chefs, mixologists and sommeliers, including chefs from Punta Mita’s various dining destinations as well as guest chefs. Enjoy a cocktail party on opening night plus a closing dinner to top off the weekend, which will also feature an online auction offering exclusive experiences and luxury products. The auction will benefit the Lorena Ochoa Foundation, which raises funds for kids and teens with social and economic disadvantages, and local foundation PEACE.
