Punta Mita is gearing up for an exciting year of celebrations and new debuts. Currently celebrating its 20th anniversary, Punta Mita is welcoming new real estate listings, expanded golf facilities, a brand new Punta Mita Dive Center and the new El Surf Club Punta Mita, opening in March at La Lancha, one of the best areas for consistent waves for riders of all skill level. The new surf club will offer an array of surf rentals and instruction plus a Mexican coastal restaurant with a mixologist and in-house DJ.
The destination will host the Punta Mita Masters of Food, Wine & Golf April 23-26 for a weekend full of cuisine, sport and spirits. Highlights of the four-day event include meals and tastings that focus exclusively on the culinary traditions and talent of the different regions in Mexico; samplings of some of Mexico’s best artisanal beers, tequila, mezcal, raicilla and wines; cooking classes; after parties; farmer’s markets; and the two-day golf tournament at both award-winning golf courses.
