Hotel Nomade Tulum

In Architecture & Design by Isabella Moreno

Located on the road to Boca Paila, the Hotel Nomade is almost at the end of the “hotel zone” of  Tulum, a few steps from the entrance to the Natural Reserve of Sian Kaan. Each hotel in this area is formed by a series of certain guidelines to be followed, but at the same time each one provides a totally different experience because of their architecture and decoration.

The Nomade is a trip to Morocco. It is a paradise within another paradise. The interior atmosphere of every space takes you to places you could never imagine. It is a destination to go for your vacation and your time to rest. Each room has an atmosphere created by interior design and decorative elements that will transport you back to another country and time. All floors are covered by thousands of rugs that create the main space. Each rug is handpicked and brought from Morocco specifically for Hotel Nomade. The hotel is another project by the architect Sebastián Sas, creator of the Yänn Spa Wellness and the wonderful BeTulum.

Hotel Nomade is made up of 35 chic bungalows suitable for an unforgettable experience, full of dreamcatchers and hammocks. Each bungalow also has a private terrace, and the majority have a view of the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Every morning there are yoga classes, either in the magical terrace on top of the main stay or in the Moroccan Tent Campaign at the entrance to the hotel. The vegetarian restaurant Macondo has a long table to cater to customers where they can enjoy the gastronomic experience completely immersed in the environment. It is a hotel to relax, enjoy, live and to get to know yourself. Get ready for the awakening of soul, body and mind in this earthly paradise.
