Polanco is one of the more beautiful areas of Mexico City because of the urban structure that allows you to explore and live it by walking. You can stroll among the windows, streets, markets, restaurants and of course, Masaryk Avenue. This area has great houses and buildings, markets full of flowers, fruits and vegetables as well as some of the best restaurants and shops from all over the city. Among them is L’Osteria of Becco, a space to enjoy great Italian food and delicious wines.

Group Becco started its career in 2002 with L’Osteria at Polanco. The group owner, Rolly Pavia decided to inaugurate a contemporary concept of elegance of Mediterranean food in Mexico. The kitchen is under the command of Chef Julian Martinez who is one of Mexico’s favorites. In September of last year there was a celebration of its 13th anniversary and it was celebrated with nothing more and nothing less than the biggest Italian Cava from all over America.

The list of restaurants of Group Becco continues with “Becco al Mare” in 2006 in the beautiful Port of Acapulco, “Cantinetta of Becco” in 2011 at Mexico City, Santa Fe district and in 2015 opened the doors to the sophisticated “Il Becco” at the Four Seasons Hotel at Reforma Avenue.

Becco group has received recognition of “Best Award of Excellence” from the magazine WineSpectator and the “Best Authentic Italian Restaurant Award” awarded by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants which recognizes L’Osteria as one of the three most important Italian restaurants of Central and South America. Becco Group represents the magnificence of the  Mediterranean Italian Gastronomy in Mexico with all its power.
