Forbes Travel Guide has released their 2020 Star winners, a prestigious recognition bestowed on the most elite of properties around the world. In total, 1,898 properties were recognized with a Five-Star, Four-Star or Recommended rating this year. But only 432 Five-Star distinctions were given out, with many located in Mexico.
Among the Mexico properties recognized, the Five-Star winners include Belmond Maroma Resort & Spa (pictured); Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita; Las Ventanas al Paraiso, a Rosewood Resort; Montage Los Cabos; One&Only Palmilla; The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun; Rosewood Mayakoba; Rosewood San Miguel de Allende; The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort; Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal.
The Five-Star spa winners in Mexico include One&Only Spa; SE Spa at Grand Velas Riviera Maya; Sense, a Rosewood Spa Mayakoba; The Spa at Esperanza; Spa Montage Los Cabos; Waldorf Astoria Spa Los Cabos.
