1. Unique Experiences: Turtle Release Program

Since 2003, Pueblo Bonito and now Quivira has taken part in ecological conservation efforts including its turtle release program, a must-do whether you’re a total animal lover or just looking for a unique experience. From late September to mid-December, guests and owners have the chance to take part in Pueblo Bonito’s world-renowned turtle protection and release program that carries the hatchlings of four endangered species of sea turtles to the sea. Since hatchlings are easy prey, they need all the help they can get which is why the opportunity is available to assist conservation team members to safely get them to the water.

2. Culinary Heaven: The Market at Quivira

Foodies unite because the latest culinary concept to land at Pueblo Bonito is one that will seriously fill you up. Located near the Sunset Beach motor lobby, The Market is home to a vast array of dining outlets and a central bar. Designed to reminisce that of famous food halls around the world like the Plaza Hotel in New York and Harrods in London, The Market lets guests go all in with favorites like an American-style diner and a fresh organic outlet at La Huerta. Other international options include Asian, Italian and Mexican cuisine. There’s even a chocolate shop to satisfy your sweet tooth.

3. Authentic Art: Glass Objets d’Art

If you’ve ever visited Cabo you may have noticed colorful heart-shaped glass art pieces hanging from trees or on display, even more so if you’ve visited the Pueblo Bonito resorts or Quivira Los Cabos. Many of these gorgeous pieces are actually recycled glass bottles, jars and more from four of the Pueblo Bonito resorts. Thanks to a relationship with nearby San Miguel Blown Glass Factoy, up to two tons of recycled items make their way to the factory from the resorts each month where they are then cleaned, crushed and melted and handed over to glass-blowers who dip long hollow tubes into the molten glass to blow bubbles. Artisans then shape the glass into fish, vases, the famous hearts and more. What’s more, Pueblo Bonito buys back the glass art pieces by the hundreds to decorate the hotels and communities. You can even snag your own in the resorts’ gift shops to take home with you.

4. Historic Beauty: The Old Lighthouse

Cabo San Lucas’ oldest standing structure, the region’s original lighthouse, is located cliffside at Quivira Golf Club in between the par-3 sixth hole and the seventh tee. A National Historic Monument, the lighthouse marks true Land’s End at kilometer zero, where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. And getting there is half the beauty; the deep green at Quivira’s sixth hole is carved into the base of a massive dune, one of the most dramatic one-shotters Jack Nicklaus has ever built.

5. Surreal Views: Sky Pool

Infinity-edged pools are a plenty in Cabo but the Sky Pool at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach takes the experience to new heights—literally. Situated 250 feet above sea level, the aqua escape is the perfect location to watch the sun dip into the horizon and catch an iconic Cabo sunset.

The multi-level outlet not only has ocean views but also boasts an infinity-edged pool with shaded hammock overhangs, a children’s pool with splash fountains, a couples’ massage room, a movie theater, a deli/market, an indoor-outdoor restaurant with a sports bar, a fire pit, furnished offices and a conference room and a clubhouse concierge for anything you need.
