Feeling cramped en-route to the beautiful Baja? American Airlines has some relaxing news for flyers. The Dallas-based airline will begin offering a lot of extras come the end of 2016 as it ushers in premium economy seats, a luxury trend that has been catching on to many airlines.

For up to 50 percent over the coach fare, passengers can stretch out in comfort in premium economy seats that will include a wider seat, more legroom, better entertainment and free checked bags. Over the next few years premium economy seats will be offered on almost all of its long-haul partners like British Airways and Cathay Pacific.

The new seat offering will also arrive at the same time as American Airline’s new 787-900 planes.
