In partnership with TropicSurf, the luxury five-star resort is hosting World Champion Pro Surfer CJ Hobgood for an “Art of Luxury Surfing” experience at One&Only Palmilla March 8-12.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet CJ while also catching some waves and experiencing a fun surf adventure with him. While CJ may be a World Champion, that doesn’t mean you have to be; the Art of Luxury Surfing experience is open to surfers of all levels, from novice riders seeking some beginner’s tips to advanced surfers looking to perfect their style and tricks.
CJ Hobgood is a World Champion surfer who won his world title in 2001 and has long been a fan favorite during his career competing on the World Surf League tour from 1999 to 2015. As a goofy footer (right foot forward) CJ was known for his big left hand reef breaks and for taking on dramatic, death-defying wave-running in some of the world’s most extreme surf locations. Now, after retiring in 2015, CJ spends his time chasing calmer waves with his family and connecting fashion and ocean life with his development of the Salty Crew brand.
