Casa Calavera: Reopening October 1

In Dine, Los Cabos by Ali Madrazo

We are very happy to announce that one of our favorite spots in all of Los Cabos is opening its doors again to receive people with all the safety and hygiene protocols, in addition to of course ensuring a pleasant and fun experience. Casa Calavera was created by two great companies which joined forces to make this fascinating place: Grupo Vidanta, the leading resort and tourism developer in Mexico and Latin America, along with global hospitality company Hakkasan Group. They have just announced that are now accepting reservations at Casa Calavera, located beachside at Vidanta Los Cabos resort in San Jose del Cabo.

One of the characteristics that make this place so unique is that it is inspired by the Mexican tradition called Día de Muertos; the restaurant and cantina creatively combines authentic Mexican cooking techniques, recipes, and ingredients with contemporary, innovative and sophisticated twists. It is also nice to know that as it is located directly on the beach, the views of the Sea of Cortez are breathtaking. When it comes to delicious dishes we can tell you that some of our favorites are Local Tuna Tostada with creamy avocado and serrano chile, and Street Corn with corn mayonnaise, Tajín, and cotija cheese, as well as their unique selection of tasty tacos including Breaded Avocado tacos, Baja Fish tacos, and Flank Steak a taco that sits atop a full layer of crispy cheese with scallions and peanut sauce.

We can’t wait to be there!
