Already a haven for family-friendly fun, Grand Velas recently debuted new two-bedroom family suites at its Riviera Maya, Riviera Nayarit and Los Cabos properties. With more than 2,000 square feet of space, the new suites feature one king bed suite and an interconnecting suite with two queen beds. Additional amenities include a private terrace with jungle or ocean views, 24-hour suite service and complimentary nights. Families can also look forward to a stuffed animal of the resort’s mascot, bathrobes and slippers in mini sizes, a family photo session and credit for the purchase of the photos, a kid’s welcome beach kit, a kid-friendly evening turndown and more. Adults can kick back and relax with one massage per adult per night included as well.
Outside the room, kids can find plenty of exciting things to do including a designated Kids Club, a high-tech Teen Lounge and even a baby concierge to assist single parents with everything from cribs and baby floats to Mexican toys and gentle baths. Entertainment for kids include things like sand castle building, Spanish lessons, piñata making, kickball tournaments, mermaid and sea lion shows, cooking and baking classes, drive-in movies, eco-cycling tours and more.
