Holiday Cocktail Recipes from The Cape, a Thompson Hotel

Celebrate the holidays in true Cabo style this year with festive cocktails from The Cape, a Thompson Hotel’s mixology team. The divine sips feature classic seasonal flavors like cinnamon, ginger and more.

Mokaya Raicilla

  • 1 oz. Amaretto
  • 1 oz. White chocolate
  • .5 oz. Banana syrup
  • 1.5 oz. Raicilla
  • Cinnamon
  • Maraschino cherry

Directions: Pour ingredients in a Boston glass, add ice and shake vigorously and strain into an old fashioned glass with ice. Garnish with cinnamon powder, orange peel and maraschino cherry.

Rompope Raicilla

  • 1 pc. Egg yolk
  • 2 oz. Milk
  • 3 pc. Clove
  • 1 pc. Cinnamon stick
  • 2 pc. Star Anise
  • 1.5 oz. Raicilla
  • Sugar to taste

Directions: Boil the milk with the spices. Add the yolk mixed with sugar and let stand for 20 minutes. Add the Raicilla to taste and serve in a cocktail glass with ice. Garnish with cinnamon powder, mint sprig and anise.

Ginger Pie

  • 1 oz. Ginger syrup
  • 2 oz. Lychee juice
  • 1 oz. Apple juice
  • 2 oz. Red wine

Directions: Pour ingredients in a mixing glass, add ice and shake. Serve in an old fashioned glass with ice. Garnish with an orange slice and an apple wheel.

Apple Wine

  • 2 oz. White wine
  • .75 oz. Sherry liquor
  • 2 oz. Orange juice
  • 1 oz. Apple juice
  • .75 oz. Honey

Directions: Pour ingredients in a mixing glass, add ice and shake. Serve in a Collins glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel and apple slices.
