Celebrate Memorial Weekend at The Resort at Pedregal where guests can indulge in chef creations and mixologist concoctions, all while soaking up the sun. The weekend will play host to a variety of events and will feature special guests including Alfonso (Poncho) Cadena, chef and restauranteur; Sandra Chollet, director Casa Dragones Mexico; Clement Calleja, wine and champagne marketing guru; Merry Edwards, winemaker and founder of Merry Edwards Winery; and Ryan Hook, media personality and wine mixologist.

Thursday, May 25
Beach Club Tiki Bar Cocktail Show: Ring in the long weekend at the beach club where a tiki bar cocktail show will be hosted by guest mixologists including David Hernandez, Bar Manager of The Resort at Pedregal and Ryan Hooks from Doheny Room in L.A. 1 to 5 p.m.
Beach Club Pool Side BBQ: Stick around for a pool side BBQ where Executive Chef Gustavo Pinet and Guest Chef Poncho Cadena will whip up burgers and ribs with a Mexican twist.
Tequila & Oysters Tasting: Crudo Bar is celebrating the launch of its new tequila and oyster pairing. Guests can head to La Palapa to learn about Mexico’s favorite spirit from Casa Dragones Brand Director, Sandra Chollet, who will lead the tasting. Tasting is complimentary. Reservations required.
Mexican Raspados: The younger ones can enjoy complimentary raspados, or Mexican snow cones that will be served at The Rock Pool.
Friday, May 26
Seafood Molcajete Station: Head to Don Manuel’s Bar and Terrace for poolside ceviches, aguachiles and seafood for a perfect mid-day lunch. 1 to 3 p.m.
Artesian Beer Tasting: Wash it all down with local beer from Baja Brewing for a delicious tasting. Complimentary tasting. Reservations required. 1:30 to 2 p.m. and 2:30 to 3 p.m.
Cheese & Wine Cocktail Party: Guest chefs, mixologists and wine makers will come together in the main lobby for an exciting culinary event that will include cocktails using Tequila Casa Dragones. 6 to 8 p.m.
Saturday, May 27
El Mercado de Don Manuel’s: Enjoy a traditional Mexican market including Mexican food stations, each showcasing a special pairing. Expect lots of beer, tequila, wine and champagne while all star chef Poncho Cadena and Executive Chef Gustavo Pinet will be dishing out special eats. Reservations recommended. $110 per person. 6 to 11 p.m.
