Looking for the perfect resort in all of Mexico? Travel + Leisure recently released their 2017 World’s Best Awards for the top resorts in Mexico. The awards survey Travel + Leisure readers on top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more from all over the world. The hotels were specifically rated on their facilities, location, service, food, and overall value.
This year’s top spot for the best resort in Mexico went to The Resort at Pedregal (and No. 28 in the world), a Cabo San Lucas retreat that’s carved into a cliff of 24 acres that looks out over the sea. The five-star getaway features a collection of residential-style casitas, each with a plunge pool, a private terrace and ocean views. El Farallon, the resort’s elegant cliffside restaurant, is a notable highlight with its fresh seafood menu, a Champagne Terrace and a jaw-dropping setting. Luna y Mar, the resort’s spa, offers a calming oceanfront setting with 10 treatment rooms and a celestial-inspired menu of luxurious treatments. And arriving at the resort is no less impressive; the resort welcomes guests via the only privately-owned tunnel in all of Mexico, Dos Mares.
