Pull a seat up to the table because Andaz Mayakoba offers more than just a sunny beach and stunning mangroves. While the beachfront resort is a modern, chic Caribbean getaway full of bold colors and hip decor, its dining options are reason enough for a visit.
“With four unique restaurant concepts, Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya offers distinctive dining experiences for our guests, each capturing the essence of the region and diverse Latin American cuisine,” said Executive Chef Vincent Wallez. “My culinary style focuses on a balance between flavors and classic techniques, utilizing fresh ingredients and visionary touches, which is infused in the creative dishes on our menus. We look forward to giving guests an inspiring taste of Mexico and the Riviera Maya, the Andaz way.”
Named after the Amate tree that’s located in the resort’s surrounding lagoon, this unique restaurant is designed to resemble a house and is built around a courtyard that overlooks the lagoon. Open for dinner only, this sophisticated outlet features a variety of diverse and intimate rooms to dine in, each with residential furniture, shelves full of artifacts and large format art—just like one would find in a house. The rooms include the “Studio” lounge, “Library,” “Estancia” and the “Comedor.” The kitchen is led by Head Chef Ernesto Torres who created the menu which is full of diverse Latin cuisine.
