The flirty and fun W Hotels brand is coming to Playa del Carmen. Marriott Hotels announced an agreement with Fibra Inn to bring the property to life. Slated to open in 2023, it will be the first W property on the Yucatan Peninsula.
W Playa del Carmen will sit oceanfront, featuring 218 rooms and located within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Plans call for multiple food and beverage venues, the brand’s signature WET Deck, AWAY Spa, FIT Fitness Centre, beach club and a rooftop bar, along with nearly 5,400 square feet of meeting and events space.
