The debut of Tulum’s newest hotel Copal Tulum is making waves among the trees.
Newly opened in 2019, Copal Tulum Hotel is an architectural project completely integrated in nature with all the comforts of a five-star hotel. The greatest challenge during construction was preserving as much native vegetation as possible, as evidenced by the trees climbing into the hotel’s corridors. As a result, Copal Tulum Hotel boasts the most green space in the area with the heart of the project featuring a verdant tropical garden. With plants and nature all around, guests here feel completely immersed in the surroundings. Additionally, all the materials used during construction were locally sourced in order to create a respectful, unique and harmonious environment.
Copal Tulum Hotel features 56 residences and 105 guest rooms. Spread across four levels, all ground-floor and rooftop accommodations have a private pool for guests to enjoy a completely exclusive environment. Inside, design features include local materials, decorative trends, rustic elements and warm tones, all creating a cozy atmosphere. Additional features rival that of luxury hotels and include things like top quality eco-friendly amenities, Smart TVs with Netflix and in-room WiFi.
Hotel amenities include an infinity-edge pool that offers views of the surrounding jungle and stunning sunsets while a second pool is nestled into a tropical garden. For dining options, guests can enjoy an international breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant or take advantage of room service options offered all day. Kokoro Tulum, a ground-breaking concept with a noontime opening each day, is a Japanese restaurant by Chef Alberto Tristany where his cooking is the star of the show. To relax, guests can visit The Healing Spot, the hotel’s outdoor spa where manual therapies inspired by the art of Mayan healing are performed.
