Carolina Restaurant at The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort is celebrating Mexican Independence Day with a delicious culinary pairing by two of Mexico’s rising star chefs, Diego Niño and Jesus Durón. Diners will be taken on a culinary journey through the history and legacy of Mexico as interpreted by these two talented chefs.
Carolina’s own Chef Jesus Durón will share his kitchen with guest chef, Diego Niño, from the famed Nexo Wine Bistrot in Mexico City. Chef Niño, winner of the Young Talents 2016 award, will cook alongside Chef Durón to create an incredible four-course meal highlighting Mexican ingredients and flavors, accompanied by wine flights from Mexico’s own touted Monte Xanic winery. The evening will also include a special patriotic cocktail created for the event by Jorge Carrillo, the award-winning head mixologist at The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort.
