The government of the state of Nayarit announces the opening of its beaches for visitors and residents, as well as the expansion of tourist activity and hotel capacity to 50%, maintaining all the biosafety standards. The reopening of the beaches in Nayarit is achieved after a close collaborative and responsible work between state authorities and the hotel sector, through the implementation and monitoring of safety and hygiene protocols, seeking to provide confidence to the visitors and giving them the certainty of enjoying safe spaces in the destination. 

We are happy with the pronouncement of Governor Echeverria, as it is a sign of the commitment and work carried out by state authorities, health and the tourism industry, with a view to the prompt economic recovery in the destination and normalization of activities” comments Marc Murphy, director of the OVC Riviera Nayarit.“With the increase in the opening of the beaches and the hotel capacity, we will pay special attention to maintaining the implementation of protocols for the benefit of our visitors and collaborators, while promoting promotional efforts that allow us to continue reactivating the destination in the following months. This being an effort of all, we invite all who visit us to enjoy the wonders of Riviera Nayarit in a responsible way, taking care of themselves and following the instructions, because that way, we all take care of ourselves. ” Murphy adds.

It should be noted that after this announcement, the health measures implemented to prevent the spread of COVID-19 will continue to be present in the destination, so authorities and service providers, in addition to serving them, invite visitors to also follow them with the aim of preserve safe spaces and guarantee pleasant stays.Under this new and positive scenario, Riviera Nayarit, through its 23 micro-destinations and 300 kilometers of beach, is getting ready to receive its in its 437 hotels that make up the Riviera Nayarit.
