TPC Danzante Bay is celebrating its first anniversary by offering guests its popular golf and spa package.
The Rees Jones-designed course experienced a successful first year, racking up an impressive list of awards. The 18-hole par 72 course which serves as the centerpiece of Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa at The Islands of Loreto, also joined the TPC Network (owned by the PGA TOUR) December 2017 as the fourth facility in its collection of championship golf courses.
“There are not many golf courses that can offer a setting as beautiful, diverse, and dramatic as Danzante Bay,” Jones said of his first original design in Mexico. “The golf holes are dramatically different from each other and combine to give the player a one-of-a-kind experience.”
The course has earned many accolades in its first year including the Editors’ Choice Award for “Best in Travel 2018” by Golf Digest. It also gained attention from GOLF magazine, Robb Report and other major media, plus extensive Golf Channel coverage of a Golf Advisor Round Trip Getaway.
These awards were complemented by the recognition received by Villa del Palmar Beach Resort which included being named 2018 Leading Resort in Mexico and Central America and 2018 Best Beach Resort in Mexico by the World Travel Awards. It was also named one of the Top Resorts in Western Mexico in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards.
The secluded resort is ideal for those looking for an active vacation outdoors or a relaxing one by the pool. Amenities include hiking trails, six swimming pools, island tours, water sports, three dining venues and more. Experience the resort and golf course for yourself with the golf and spa package.
