From summer flicks to frozen treats and more, Flora Farms has plenty to experience during the month of August.

Cooking Classes: Learn all about wild edibles in the area like wild purslane, amaranth and more. These classes are during summer only so don’t miss out! All cooking classes include a farm tour, a craft cocktail and lunch. Every Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. $75 per person. Reservations: azalia@flora-farms.com

Sunday Brunch: Don’t miss one of the best days to visit the farm..Sunday! Indulge in the family-style brunch menu that includes lemon ricotta pancakes, Flora’s pastry basket, seasonal salad, herb scrambled farm eggs, thinly shaved ham and breakfast sausage, roasted country potatoes and more. Plus, the Pelo de Perro Bar, pizza and a la carte menu are available. Sunday brunch also features live music on the straw bale stage by the Todos Santos Jazz Band and croquet on the lawn. Sundays, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Summer Movie Nights: Every Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. on the lawn guests can enjoy complimentary kettle popcorn and lemonade while watching the feature flick. Pizza, salads and snow cones will also be available for purchase. Reservations: reservations@flora-farms.com

Farm Spa: Visit the Farm Spa Tuesday through Friday to enjoy a variety of classes including gentle yoga, pilates, body sculpt, stretching and nourishing flow yoga. Reservations: spa@flora-farms.com

Painting Lessons & Workshop: Enjoy a morning at the Mango Grove painting under the guidance of Francois Paris, owner of O Gallery. Classes include all materials needed plus lunch and wine. $100 per person. Reservations: azalia@flora-farms.com

Frozen Treats: New at the grocery is frozen dog treats! The treats are prepared by Flora Farm’s Pastry Chef Leslie Tellez and her team and are made with yogurt, peanut butter, bananas and mint. All proceeds go to local shelters. For humans, Flora Farm’s ice cream cart is scooping up summertime flavors including mango, vanilla, mamey, basil, chocolate, chamomile, roasted banana, chocolate mint, vanilla brownie and chocolate and vanilla ice cram sandwiches.
