Cabo’s Twin Dolphin Community Continues to Expand

Another opulent community is taking roots along the Golden Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. Twin Dophin, an elite, master-planned community will include Montage Los Cabos, a resort hotel and residences, along with Maravilla Los Cabos, a current private residential community of custom homesites and fully turn-key built products. The new community will be named Twin Dolphin, a nod to the former Hotel Twin Dolphin, one of the first luxury hotels to grace the shores of Los Cabos.

Developed by Ohana Real Estate Investors, the 1,400-acre community will span both sides of the Transpeninsular Highway and will be a new destination for both visitors and prospective home-buyers. Included in the expansive development will be an 18-hole Fred Couples Signature Golf Course and golf club, retail shops and more. Homeowners will have the opportunity to join the golf club and use the course to their heart’s content.


Montage Los Cabos, the resort hotel and residences, is set to open in early 2018 on the shores of Santa Maria Bay Beach (featured photo) that was recently awarded the international Blue Flag Certification designation—a recognition gained for water quality—making it one of the few swimmable beaches in Cabo. The resort will be a part of the esteemed Montage Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio whose earned 10 Forbes Five Star awards in the past two years alone.

Sure to be another destination for elite travelers, the new Cabo resort is stretching its designs past the walls of its suites. “We have made thoughtful choices at each turn, such as native landscaping that includes saving and replanting over 40,000 plants, a state-of-the-art reverse osmosis desalination plant, building design that conserves energy and highlights indoor-outdoor experiences, and plans for developing an eco-friendly golf course,” said Alex Hill, executive vice president of development for Ohana Real Estate Investors.

The resort will include 122 guestrooms and 52 private, whole ownership residences. Amenities include a full-service spa, two pools, dining options, fitness center, tennis courts, children’s program and access to the beach.


The 260-acre residential community of Maravilla will offer a variety of options for choosy home buyers including villas, townhomes, custom homes and half-acre custom homesites. Indoor-outdoor living, contemporary design and putting green and sea views are just a few of the amenities buyers can expect to be mesmerized by. Other lavish resident-exclusive amenities include a 60,000-square-foot clubhouse, two restaurants, a bar, bluff-top sand dining, mercado cafe, juice bar, three-level infinity-edged pool, water slide, lap pool, hot and cold plunge pools, Jacuzzi, full-service spa, fitness center and outdoor fitness palapa, two-story climbing wall, lawn sports courts, outdoor amphitheater, indoor theater and a kid’s activity center.
