Palmilla Golf Club Debuts RoboGolfPro Swing Training Aid

In Los Cabos, Play by Suzanne Koch

The “Grand Dame of Los Cabos Golf,” Palmilla Golf Club, has recently debuted RoboGolfPro, a new swing training aid. Developed by tour player, equipment designer and instructor Scot W.R. Nei, RoboGolfPro helps golfers perfect their swing by taking them through the correct movements with the help of video and mechanical training. The debut makes Palmilla Golf Club the only location in Los Cabos with the revolutionary training aid.

Using robot-like arms, RoboGolfPro takes students through the motion of their perfect swing, combining the feel and understanding of what the swing should be. If the technology isn’t enough to convince you, PGA TOUR pros Vaughn Taylor, Bryson DeChambeau and David Toms all work with RoboGolfPro and Taylor even won the 2016 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am while working with Nei.

“Working with the RoboGolfPro allows the student to see immediate results,” said Jaron Higgens, a PGA Teaching Professional at Palmilla Golf Club.  “It is amazing the work that can be done both on and off the Robot.”

Higgens recently moved to Los Cabos from Calgary, Alberta Canada, where has been teaching with the RoboGolfPro for the last year. “I’m excited to bring this new technology to Los Cabos and the Palmilla Golf Club,” added Higgens.

Instruction with Higgens and RoboGolfPro is available through Palmilla Golf Club.
