Tulum Continues Skyrocketing Growth as a Popular Vacation Destination

Expedia Rewards travel agency has revealed that Tulum has been the preferred destination for international tourists so far this year.

According to the statistics, 72 percent of the vacationers who arrived from January 2022 to September 2022 were from the United States, while 11 percent corresponded to national tourism.

According to the Quintana Roo Tourism Agency, 62 percent of visitors arrived as a couple, with 29 of them opting for all-inclusive hotel and resort packages.

The economic recovery that this great wave of tourism brought this year to Tulum has allowed tourists to pay for stays of up to almost five days, along with a daily spend of $536 USD per American visitor.

Meanwhile, Expedia Rewards announced that the expectations for Tulum at the end of the year and next 2023 are projected with an extensive and innovative promotional campaign promoted by the City Council.

Those who find them enjoying Tulum with some extra time can easily take a day trip to the nearby hotspot resort destination of Cancún and the surrounding area.
