Rococo Representing the Art of Designing

In Architecture & Design by Isabella Moreno

Rococo is an industrial design office that perfectly combines madness and fun. All of their projects and pieces are characterized by expressing happiness, joy and a lot of passion for design in each one of them. The idea began in 2009 with the goal to offer and create furniture pieces that were not available in the Mexican market yet. Today, Rococo is positioned as one of the top five brands of Mexican design. Their work has been published in more than 20 national and international magazines such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Architectural Digest, Apartment Therapy, Elle Décor and many more. Many of their creations have also been exhibited in museums like the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City, the Franz Mayer Museum and Fine Arts Palace.

Rococo’s  projects create atmospheres in different spaces by means of the objects they create like furniture, tiles, cushions, lamps, ceramics, textiles and wallpaper. They have created interior works like Pug Seal in Polanco, furniture for the Uber offices, the shoe store Minhk as well as been featured in important design fairs like Zona Maco and have worked in different sectors, always spreading color, patterns and fun into space.

The philosophy of Rococo is believing in technology, collaboration, craftsmanship and fair trade. Their eternal inspiration is Mexico and its rich culture, the history, past, future, planet, nature, human race, geometry and the universe.

Don’t miss their showroom at Colonia Juarez in Mexico City.
