The classic Wet’n Wild Cancun water park that hosted aquatic fun for nearly 20 years, has received a complete facelift. A $6 million makeover introduced many new features to the park including a Caribbean restaurant area and an exclusive beach club which allows guests to lounge by the ocean and sip on beverages at the beach bar. The park will also offer dry attractions like go-karts, zip line, bridge tours, flying chairs, virtual reality games and amusement rides. The park will still have many of its favorites like the wave pool, water slides and lazy river.
The aquatic adventure land will now be called Ventura Park and will be a part of Ventura Entertainment that will include Selvática, Dophinaris and Entreteparq. The park is set to open to the public on March 1.
