Recipe: Traditional Egg Nog From One&Only Palmilla

Keep the holidays festive this year with a glass of egg nog, the unofficial drink of the Christmas season. Enjoy this creamy and delicious recipe from One&Only Palmilla in San Jose del Cabo.

Traditional Egg Nog

  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1/3 cup Super fine sugar (not icing sugar)
  • 1/2 tsp Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup Brandy
  • 1/4 cup Spiced rum
  • 3/4 cup Whole milk
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream

Directions: Beat eggs in a blender for one minute on medium speed. Add sugar slowly and blend for another minute. With blender still running add nutmeg, brandy, rum, milk and cream until combined. Chill thoroughly. Serve in chilled wine glasses or Champagne flutes. Garnish with fresh grated nutmeg.
