Gabriela Sánchez y Sánchez de la Barquera: Creative Identity

Mexico is one of the biggest countries in regards to territory, richness, diversity and talent. There are different Mexican personalities of the world that are important in different areas like: architecture, design, fashion, gastronomy, football, industrial design, astronomy, etc. One of the most recent personal discoveries was an incredibly talented designer that creates new world to travel through with her amazing illustrations.

With different techniques she manages to create mystics, geometric scenarios and, combined with objects and typical buildings of Mexico or other places, makes a whole image that will blow your mind. Her name is Gabriela Sanchez and Sánchez de la Barquera. She has been a designer for Vlisco for a few years now and makes illustrations and scarves and also gives talks for different creative groups and students. She has been invited to give different talks on her topic of creative identity, in order to motivate, inspire and empower people to take over their real talent. She talks about the path she has taken in textile design, illustration and design. Some of the places where she has spoken include:

It is important to recognize, support and disseminate personalities with so much potential, talent and beautiful art that manages to convey creativity at different levels.
