The holiday season is upon us and Galeria de Ida Victoria is preparing for its upcoming and very popular event, the Holiday Concert featuring the Los Cabos Youth Orchestra and Polyphonic Choir on Tuesday, December 15th. This has become a very popular event at the gallery with limited seating of only 24 guests, and it sells out every year. The majority of the proceeds go directly to benefit the Youth Orchestra. A $500 usd gift coin toward an original work of art will be given to one attendee.
Los Cabos Youth Orchestra is part of a musical program developed by Professor Alfredo Franco to use music as a social cohesive, bringing low-income families together and providing their kids with means to strengthen core values like teamwork, commitment and perseverance while building up their self- esteem through recognition within their own community. The Patronato de la Orquesta Juvenil de Los Cabos, is the non-profit organization comprised of volunteers (music professionals, parents and teachers) who are in charge of managing and regulating the different musical projects in which the Orchestra is involved.
