Hiro Sake Expanding Into Mexico In 2016

Sake lover? Fans of the Japanese rice-wine beverage will be pleased to know that the premium Hiro Sake will be expanding into Mexico beginning January 1, 2016. Initially the product will be available in La Europea stores in Mexico City, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas. Carlos Arana, co-founder and CEO of Hiro Sake stated “We have built a strong foothold in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and now we are excited to move into Mexico and even to Europe in 2016. We say kanpai, thank you to all that have gotten us here!”

Hiro was named ‘Best of Nation’ from Japan at the 2015 San Francisco International Wine Competition. Hiro was also awarded double gold for it’s Blue Junmai Jingo. The sake is offered in Junmai (red) and Junmai Ginjo (blue) and is brewed in Niigata Prefecture which is touted as one of the best sake-producing regions of Japan.

In addition to expanding into Mexico in 2016, Hiro will also begin distribution in Europe, starting with Italy.
